God tells us in Proverbs that "a righteous man cares for the needs of his animal." The standards outlined below help us ensure that we are taking care of the animals in the LCM program and also maintaining a safe environment for all the people we serve through this program. We want to make sure each animal in our program enjoys therapy work and has been trained thoroughly.

Not part of an animal/handler team? No problem! You can still serve God through LCM by serving as a Team Assistant or LCM Coordinator for your congregation.

All animal/handler teams participating in LCM Congregational Programs must receive and maintain their LCM certification.
